We're really excited to bring this coffee and the fun partnership forward!
Introducing Todos Santos, a collective known as ‘Mujeres luchando por un mejor futuro,’ or Women Striving for a Brighter Future. In this isolated region of Huehuetenango, many men have departed to work in the United States, leaving the women responsible for raising their families, managing their farms, and generating income. A decade ago, the women in this community grew weary of handling everything on their own. United, the community of women came together and began discussing solutions. Before long, they had assembled over 200 women smallholders and established an association to benefit the entire community.
We get to work with this amazing coffee and partner with the crew at Old Dominick to put a fun spin it. We utilize their used barrels to soak the green coffee in. The coffee sits for 2 weeks to hit the perfect moisture content. What is produced is a tasty coffee for both coffee and bourbon lovers. The perfect balance.
